RonCloutier > Old Vernon House - 09-29-09 This may well be the very last opportunity to photograph this ancient dwelling on Main St. Vernon Florida. If it doesn't fall down by itself, they are planning to take it down for the widening of the highway. I have not been able to determine how old it is, but locals say "been there ever since....". I posted a similar image before, but probably on the Flickr site. For those who have not seen it on that site, the house is located directly across from the Post Office in Downtown (chuckle) Vernon, Florida.The only thing holding this old house up is the ivy. >
RonCloutier > Face Painting. This little boy just got his face painted at the Panama City October Fest. Me I got a beer. (The face painting was probably cheaper) >
RonCloutier > Cabin By The Lake. If you are ever around the Dunford Pond in Northwest Florida, you will be awed at the sight from this location. >
RonCloutier > "Side Kick" is our resident feral cat. I've been feeding him everyday for about 2 months but I still can't touch him. I'm hoping to befriend him before harm comes to him. Notice the unusual triangle marking below his nose on his upper lip. >
RonCloutier > Facing the sun. This flower was grown in a neighbor's yard at the lake. >
RonCloutier > Amazing how close he let me get to him. There were several other birds looking for food in the area when I got a glimpse of him flying across my lot and landing some place not 1/4 mile away. I approached to within 30 yards of him before I started snapping shots. He seemed to enjoy the session. I finally got to about 20 yards of him before he decided this was enough. >
